Lafayette Journal & Courier – As many as 80,000 veterans may be able to use evidence showing they have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder to have their discharge upgraded thanks to a letter issued by former Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel late last year directing boards for corrections of military records to “fully and carefully consider every position based on PTSD brought on by each veteran.”
