LaCross Tribune – Legislation designed to curb opioid painkiller in the Veterans Administration health system is headed to the Senate floor as part of a larger VA reform bill. The omnibus bill approved by the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs on Wednesday included language from a bill introduced by U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., in response to reports of rampant opioid use at the Tomah VA Medical Center.
