Sandusky Register – Mission accomplished for Susan Zeier. The Sandusky resident’s efforts to secure a hearing before the U.S. Senate for military members suffering illnesses when serving in Iraq and Afghanistan appears successful. Zeier recently learned the Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs plans on hosting an upcoming hearing in Washington, D.C., on burn pits and toxic exposure. An aide representing U.S. Sen Sherrod Brown’s office confirmed the decision.
