VA.gov – A report in today’s media questions the independence and integrity of the dedicated men and women who work in our organization. There is no basis in fact to support these allegations. Today’s article quotes Congressman Mike Coffman, who is the Chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, as saying, “The American people deserve to know the truth.” I say, AMEN to that. Our job is to speak the truth to power, and our record reflects that is exactly what we have always done.
