The Columbus Dispatch – U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert Wilkie, an officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and the son of an Army artillery commander, told the crowd that veterans are “ordinary citizens who have performed extraordinary deeds.” He said the museum is a place that will make certain that those who protect our country are never forsaken.
